Taiwan's Ming Rong Yuan Businesss Co. Ltd., Unveils Its Underwater Foundation Pile for Taipower Offshore Phase I Project

Representatives from Ming Rong Yuan, Taipower, and Jan De Nul Group celebrated the completion of Taiwan manufactured pin pile for Taipower's Phase I OWF.

  

"Close ties and cooperation among developer, system integrator and local suppliers could make offshore wind localization in Taiwan more successful and efficient," said Jan Kop, Project Director of Jan De Nul Group.

  

Liao Shih-Ming, President of Ming Rong Yuan said the MRY is the only company which has been certified with ISO-3834 and EN-1010. The local manufacturer specializes in high pressure tanks/vessels and has plenty of experiences working with international companies. "The production line, once completed, has the capacity of processing pin-piles of up to 50-60 (66.5meters each) pin piles per year, "said Liao.

  

Taipower Phase I is expected to begin construction before the end of this year.
